The baseball jacket

Classic or futuristic - one is sure: it's a stunningly flexible jacket.

It can be matched with jeans, a pencil skirt... with everything!

How not love it?
I jak tu jej nie kochać?

The Little Black Jacket

Designed by Mademoiselle Gabrielle over 50 years ago...
Zaprojektowany przez mademoiselle Chanel ponad 50 lat temu...

...it's still one of the most loved pieces of Chanel attire.
...wciąż jest jednym z najbardziej ukochanych części garderoby Chanel.

The last year was a time for reviving the story of the legendary jacket. Karl Lagerfeld invited many known actors, artists, even fashion editors to show people, how flexible this simple clothing may be.

After months of preparation, the photos had the premiere in many towns located all around the world - to show, that the jacket can be worn by anyone, to any style and preference.

"You see kids, you see man in it. It's just we almost forget the jacket when we see all the people. It reveals who you are" said Cecile Cassel on the premiere of the exhibition in Hong Kong. For me, she captured the essence of the jacket perfectly.
"Widzisz w nim dzieci, widzisz mężczyzn. To jest tak, że prawie zapominamy o żakiecie, gdy widzimy wszystkich tych ludzi. On ukazuje, kim jesteś" powiedziała Cecile Cassel na premierze wystawy w Hong Kongu. Według mnie uchwyciła esencję tego odzienia.

A film about the history of one of Coco's most known creations:
Krótki film o historii tej części garderoby:

I think that the jacket finally got the deserved attention...
What do you think of the exhibition and the clothing piece in itself?

Take My Picture

This film is fantastic. Simple, but truth always has clear lines.

The shining 4: my top hairstyles from the Spring-Summer FW's

My head shape is a quite... unusual one. I don't mean the face, but the head all in all. I always have some problems with finding a hairstyle that would be good for me. Browsing through the SS hair ideas on the catwalks, I found some that people with issues like me could try to re-create.

So, if you have a high and very, very flat forehead, here you might find something that will suit you perfectly.

Tousled waves, hair as-if-the-wind-would-love-you... This is what could look perfect on a high forehead - the waves, the texture of the haistyle will smooth your forehead and give it more "dimension".

A fringe is the most easy way to make your forehead look perfect. And especially when the hair parting is done far away from the head center - it hides the roundness of the hair line on both sides of the f-head. For me it's absolutely perfect.

You think that a center-parted up-do is a "no no" for high foreheads? You're wrong! Just make a few strands frame your head and make it look a little bit messy - texture always softens down the face.

Loose, big curls swept over the head from one side - you need just that and you don't have to worry about your problem anymore, because a high forehead with this hairstyle looks gorgeous.

If you have any other ideas for hairstyles, that make high f-heads appear glorious, tell me in the comments!

Harper's Bazaar overview

...Sometimes I feel very proud of where I'm recently living. When I heard that one of the most iconic fashion magazines will have a polish edition - that was one of those days, when the proudness awoke.

Harper's Bazaar... A title that is known to many of you, or at least I think so.

Richard Avedon, Salvador Dali, Patrick Demarchelier... I could count legendary people who have worked with this magazine forever. It was HP that introduced Kate Moss to the american fashion stage (until now, she appeared ten times on the cover of this magazine). It was HP on which pages the first photographs of models outside the studio started appearing.

I found the age-themed pages very interesting, although I don't accept any age restrictions when it comes to clothing.

How to desribe such a fashion treasue in one word? It's easy. A Legend

From 2013, Carine Roitfeld will be publishing 4 times a year sessions with models dressed in clothes chosen only by her. Very nice idea to keep your amazing style talent publicly alive, Carine!

On the cover of the first, March issue appeared Malgosia Bela, one of the best-known and respected polish models in the world. As always, she did her job perfectly, and the fair, mostly white colours of the photo session did a beautiful and promising start of a piece of fashion history in this country.

The interviews were very interesting (especially with above mentioned Malgosia and Jakub Gierszal, an actor who is actually conquering the local film stage, and slowly building up a name in Hollywood).

On the 14th March the April issue will have it's premiere. I'm looking forward to get it and advise you to do the same!
